Medical Imaging Solution from Toshiba TeliToshiba Teli America, Inc., the North American subsidiary of imaging giant Toshiba Teli Co., today announced a medical imaging solution based on its iIS-BF4 SmartDragon™ FireWire-B (IEEE1394.b) processor that can connect and simultaneously receive data from up to four Toshiba Teli CSFS20CC2 FireDragon™ color cameras.

This multipurpose solution has wide applications in Pathology and Surgery, Ophthalmology, Dental, Vet Surgery, Diagnosis and Telemedicine. 

The total solution combines the FireDragon cameras and the SmartDragon processor with TeliDCAM software featuring viewer, driver and SDK. This advanced software enables the user to easily record with or without compression, capture images, store and create customer or patient files, archive files, create presentations, and download information to servers. Recordings can be compressed 50/1 or 100/1 when recording more than 24 hours. Additionally, the SmartDragon processor has a built-in card slot for recording on industrial-grade CF cards of up to 4Gb.



 

The FireDragon CSFS20CC2 camera will capture color video images at 1280 x 1024 resolution at 20 frames-per-second to assure crisp, detail-rich results.

Toshiba Teli also offers its T24MSA001-MD medical-grade (UL6061) LCD monitor with full HD (1080p) resolution that assures the most natural reproduction of video images and the highest level of differentiation during such applications as diagnostic analysis, video endoscopy and surgery.
