Excelitas Introduces pco.pixelfly 26 CLHS Camera Delivering High-Speed, High-Resolution Imaging with Simplified Air Cooling
Excelitas®, a leading provider of advanced, life-enriching technologies that make a difference, serving global market leaders in the life sciences, advanced industrial, next-generation semiconductor and avionics sectors, today announced the launch of its new pco.pixelfly™ 26 CLHS camera. Combining the speed of the industry’s fastest CLHS data interface with a high-resolution sCMOS sensor, the camera captures large image volumes for immediate analysis across demanding inspection and research environments.
Featuring a True Charge Domain Global Shutter sensor with 2.5 μm pixels, the pco.pixelfly 26 CLHS achieves exceptional detail, even at medium magnification, with pixel architecture optimized for low parasitic light sensitivity. It delivers full 5120 × 5120-pixel resolution at up to 29 frames per second, setting a new benchmark for performance and affordability in compact, air-cooled imaging.
Available in both monochrome and color versions, the camera eliminates the need for liquid cooling, reducing system complexity and maintenance while simplifying integration into industrial and OEM systems.
“The pco.pixelfly 26 CLHS delivers the performance that precision applications demand, but in a smaller, more cost-efficient design,” said Alexander Grünig, Director Advanced Imaging Systems at Excelitas. “By combining global-shutter accuracy, 26-megapixel resolution and CLHS streaming in an air-cooled package, we’ve created an ideal solution for high-speed, high-detail imaging—from semiconductor inspection to materials research.”
