ATLANTA, Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Just as consumer confidence slipped to a
7 year low, Norcross, Georgia-based DVT Corporation announced that October bookings were the highest in the company's ten-year history. DVT is the leading supplier of smart image sensors (digital vision systems) used in manufacturing for parts inspection, robotic guidance and quality control applications.
Commenting on the record month, DVT Chairman and CEO, Bob Steinke said, "This accomplishment is the direct result of the dedication of our sales organization and staff, and faithful execution of our business plan."
"When the economy started slowing earlier this year," Steinke continued, "we reacted by increasing our efforts in the areas of marketing, customer service and technical support. This dedication to customer support pays dividends in the long run."
