Cognex to Host Free Machine Vision Seminars

Chicago, IL and Natick, MA, September 26, 2000-Cognex Corporation (NASDAQ - CGNX), the world's leading supplier of machine vision systems, will host a series of half-day seminars demonstrating how new vision sensor technology can be used to solve automated inspection tasks in the automotive, medical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, consumer products, and electronics industries.
Designed primarily for automation engineers, the free seminars will feature live demonstrations of Cognex's new In-Sight 2000 vision sensor performing a variety of tasks. These tasks include measuring part dimensions, verifying correct assembly of components, locating randomly oriented parts, and identifying 1D and 2D codes on parts.
