Basler Announces New Distributor in Japan for Intelligent Camera Series eXcite
POSTED 03/02/2007
Ahrensburg, 01 March 2007 – We are pleased to introduce LinX (www.linx.jp/) as our new sales representative for the eXcite camera line in Japan. Basler will provide their eXcite intelligent camera series to LinX for resale. Under the terms of the agreement, LinX will sell Basler’s eXcite cameras in Japan, as well as provide training and support for the products. We believe that our Japanese customers will benefit from the expertise of LinX’s image processing specialists.
LinX is an experienced, highly competent partner for users seeking image processing hardware and software. They offer educational training classes on a regular basis that highlight their know-how and increase customer awareness of their products. LinX has also successfully distributed MVTec’s Halcon products for more than 10 years. Halcon software and the eXcite camera are an ideal combination and make an exceptionally powerful bundle. This fact, along with LinX’s competence and experience, make us confident that LinX was the best choice.
Our other line scan and area scan camera models are being well represented in Japan by the Neopt company. Neopt started distributing our camera products one year ago.
We are convinced that our customers in Japan will benefit from our choice of partners.
