Basler Acquires Stakes in Roboception
Basler AG, a leading provider of image processing components for computer vision applications, has acquired a 25.1% stake in Roboception GmbH, Munich, through a strategic investment and capital increase.
With this move, computer vision expert Basler AG and 3D vision specialist Roboception GmbH are enhancing their existing collaboration and plan to expand their 3D solutions business for factory automation, robotics, and logistics.
The two companies have been cooperating in sales since 2021 and have been working closely together on developing 3D image processing solutions.
