AIA Sponsors Networking Event in Germany
Ann Arbor, MI - For the second consecutive year, the Automated Imaging Association (AIA) will sponsor a networking event for North American and German machine vision company executives during the VISION Show in Stuttgart, Germany, October 9-11, 2001.
More than 60 executives already have registered for the event, which will feature updated reports on the North American and German machine vision markets. AIA plans to limit the audience to 75 in order to keep the event small enough to allow for meaningful discussions between participants.
"Events like this give executives a chance to meet new potential customers, business partners, and suppliers, which is why we're seeing such a strong demand for tickets," said Jeffrey A. Burnstein, Executive Director of AIA. "We had tremendous feedback from the event we held in Stuttgart last year, attended by 50 executives, which is why we decided to increase the number of people we're allowing to attend this year."
The AIA reception runs from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10 at Messe Stuttgart, site of the VISION 2001 show, which is the largest machine vision event in Europe. Attendees of AIA's reception receive free admission to the show.
Founded in 1984, AIA is the only trade group in North America organized specifically to serve the field of machine vision. Its 230 member companies include leading machine vision suppliers, system integrators, end users, research firms, and consulting groups.
