10th Annual AIA Business Conference Set for March 6-8, 2002 in Las Vegas

POSTED 10/29/2001

Ann Arbor, Michigan -- The 10th Annual Automated Imaging Association Business Conference will be held March 6-8, 2002, at The Regent in Las Vegas, Nevada.

'In the past decade, the AIA Business Conference has become the industry's leading networking event, attracting some 150-175 industry leaders each year,' said Jeffrey A. Burnstein, AIA's Executive Director.

'Executives attend in order to learn about business issues that impact their companies as well as to network with their peers.  The conference also features the first-look at new machine vision market study results and forecasts from North America and Europe,' Burnstein explained.

Another feature of the 2002 event will be a look at issues involved in successful mergers & acquisitions.  'Many people expect increased merger activity in the months ahead, which makes this an especially important topic for the Business Conference,' Burnstein noted.

Among the featured speakers at the 2002 Business Conference will be:

  • Vince Sollitto, Photon Dynamics
  • Dr. Moshe Handelsman, Advanced Forecasting, Inc.
  • Enis Ersu, ISRA Vision Systems
  • Nello Zuech, Vision Systems International
  • Dave Litwiller, DALSA
  • T.L.Stebbins, Adams, Harkness & Hill
  • Marc Brown, Oppenheimer, Wolff and Donnelly

Burnstein said that AIA will announce additional speakers shortly.  He also said that in honor of the Conference's 10th anniversary, AIA will offer special pricing and hold several exciting optional events to make this the best Business Conference in its history.
