Application & Solution

Our innovative system captures 18 images of the component at different positions and focal planes, covering both the front and back of the connector assembly. Using an 8 µm/pixel resolution, the images are stitched together with a specially developed stitching tool, producing a single, highly detailed overall image. This approach ensures every critical detail is inspected.

The inspection process leverages VisionCommander® image processing software, which evaluates the stitched image for defects or irregularities. Additionally, the system applies a good part marker automatically to parts that meet quality standards, integrating a dedicated camera for precise placement.
