Advantech IP65 Industrial Touch Monitors IDS-3300 built for water and Dust Resistant application

Dec. 2018, Taipei – Advantech (2395.TW), a leading global embedded solutions provider, announces the release of its IDS-3300 front IP65 industrial touch monitor series with screen sizes of 10.4”, 15”, and 19”. Equipped with Advantech's well-engineered, in-house ruggedized front metal frames, the IDS-3300 series provides optimal solutions for waterproof and dustproof applications while keeping a compact and narrow bezel design. The rounded-corner design is ergonomic and sleek while reducing the likelihood of damage. The IDS-3300 series offers versatile touchscreen options, including cover glass, resistive touchscreen, and projected capacity touchscreen, for different applications and user scenarios. Customization services, such as brightness enhancement and AR coating for outdoor applications, are available.
Compact Front IP65 Design
IP certification is essential for industrial applications in wet and dusty environments. Advantech’s IDS-3300 front IP65 touch monitors provide an ideal solution against water, dust, and humidity and are highly suitable for application to both the food and beverage and outdoor industries. The in-house, IP65-rated mechanical solution offers an ultra slim design of 42 mm in depth and four rounded corners for maximum protection. IDS-3300 also provides different interfaces for easy fixing and integration: VESA 75 x 75 and 100 x 100 at the back and metal clampers on the sides.

The IDS-3300 series offers flexible surface options such as cover glass (when touch is not required), resistive touch screen, and a projection capacity touch screen to meet different specifications. The series comes with VGA/DVI/HDMI signal interfaces for easy integration to all embedded boards and systems. USB and RS-232 ports are reserved for connections to different touch screens: projection capacity or resistive.
