In our KIKoSA research project, the ZScan® 360 3D laser scanning technology, combined with AI-based 3D point cloud processing, establishes new standards for quality assessment in the production of laser-welded hairpins for e-mobility electrostators. ZScan® 360 scans both hairpin tips and relevant side surfaces for quality assurance. Using senswork Neuralyze 3D AI tools, scans are evaluated in real time and welding defects are precisely detected.
