Who is AI Performance for?
As AI is increasingly used in high-impact and regulated environments, your company must be able to demonstrate that your AI systems are fair, robust, and reliable, as internal testing and self-assessment alone are no longer sufficient.
AI Performance is BSI’s independent verification service for AI models and datasets, providing objective, third-party assurance that systems perform as intended and meet defined expectations for quality, fairness, and robustness.

AI Performance is designed for organizations that:

• Develop or deploy AI models in any sector
• Operate AI in regulated or high-risk contexts, such as healthcare, finance, security, or critical infrastructure
• Need independent evidence of AI fairness, robustness, and reliability

The service supports early-stage verification as well as ongoing assurance as AI systems evolve.

What does AI Performance verify?
Through algorithmic auditing and dataset testing, BSI independently evaluates:

• Data quality and representativeness
• Model performance and accuracy
• Bias and fairness across use cases or populations
• Robustness, stability, and resilience to change

Assessments align with internationally recognized state-of-the-art ISO and IEC AI standards and support readiness for emerging regulations, including the DPDP Act and EU AI Act.
