Laura Wasson has over a decade of experience in industrial automation and robotics. Laura is passionate about innovation and loves to talk about AMRs. After graduating from Miami University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, she pursued master’s degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from Xavier University. Laura was a recipient of the Manufacturing Institute’s STEP Ahead Emerging Leader award and is a member of Miami University’s Robotics Taskforce.

Saurabh Chandra is the founder and CEO of Ati Motors, established in 2017 to innovate industrial automation through advanced autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). His leadership has driven the development of solutions that address complex material handling challenges in factories and warehouses. Prior to Ati Motors, Saurabh co-founded Neev Technologies, an IT services firm acquired in 2013, and later led Razorfish Neev within Publicis Groupe, delivering global technology solutions.

A graduate of IIT BHU with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Saurabh combines a deep technical background with a strategic vision. His expertise spans entrepreneurship, robotics, automation, and business strategy, making him a respected leader in both technology and robotics industries.

Craig Salvalaggio, President, Applied Manufacturing Technologies

Craig Salvalaggio has served the role as the Chief Operating Officer of AMT for the past 3 years which has recently allowed him to take on the additional responsibilities as Company President. He leads overall operations of Applied Manufacturing Technologies along with sales, engineering, and talent management. His technical skills in automation and robotics combined with his leadership ability, led to his current role. His strategic mission is to continue driving growth and diversity of both the systems and services market segments. Craig brings over 20 years of automation experience to AMT and holds a BS in mechanical engineering from Lake Superior State University, a masters in operations management, and an MBA from Kettering University. Craig is actively involved in the Association for Advancing Automation (A3) as a board of director on the Robotics Tech Sector Board, committee member, and the Co-Chair of the Certified Integrator Committee. Craig is regular speaker and panelist on a variety of industry association events providing technical insights into emerging technologies, culture, and talent management.
