Large-Area Vacuum Gripping System FMC for Controlled Handling of Tiles

05/06/2015

For layerwise handling of tiles a large-area vacuum gripping system of five large-area vacuum gripper FMC-SW in combination with an industrial robot is used. The application of the gripping system enables to lift and displace several tiles simultaneously. As sealing element, which is the connection between the workpiece and the gripping system, a foam is used with which damage of the workpieces is avoided.
