Gaging Machine Tending Automation System
By incorporating a FANUC robot into this automation cell, Matrix Design was able to combine a DMC code reader for accurate gaging and precise placement of parts into a part washer. Once the automated washing is complete, the part is picked and placed in a finished part tray and palletized for easy material handling.
