4 Robot Structural Steel Weld Cell
Automation IG produced this four robot weld cell to weld together structural steel components. Using 4 IRB 2400L robots, IRC5 controllers, Miller Auto-Access welders Automation IG developed an advanced robotic weld cell which lays down over 700 inches of weld in roughly 15 minutes. Automation IG combined torch tending stations, touch sensing, and advanced programming techniques with two automatically driven tooling carts to create a high output weld cell.
