Trip to BIMU 2026 Milan - Call For US Delegates - Complimentary Trip
The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) in Chicago is organizing a complimentary delegation trip for US end users of metal processing technology, robotics, automation, and additive manufacturing to attend BI-MU 2026 in Milan, Italy, from October 13 to 16, 2026.
Organized in partnership with UCIMU, the exhibition organizer, the initiative is designed to connect US manufacturers with leading Italian suppliers and technology providers in the metalworking and advanced manufacturing sectors.
BI-MU is Italy’s leading exhibition dedicated to machine tools for metal cutting and metal forming, robotics, automation, digital manufacturing, additive manufacturing, and enabling technologies. The 35th edition of the biennial event is expected to feature more than 750 exhibitors, 65,000 square meters of exhibition space, and approximately 35,000 visitors.

Expenses Covered
For qualifying companies, the program includes the following fully paid travel and on-site expenses:
- Round-trip coach-class airfare between US and Milan Malpensa or Milan Linate
- Hotel accommodation in Milan for three nights, with check-in on October 12, 2026, and check-out on October 15, 2026
- Breakfast at the hotel and buffet lunch at the trade show
- Ground transportation within Italy, including transfers between hotel, show site, and scheduled visits
- Airport transfers for delegates arriving and departing on October 12 and 15, 2026.
- VIP entrance badge, including access to the international buyers’ lounge with Wi-Fi, computers, printers, photocopying services, coat check, coffee bar, and on-site assistance.
Trip Itinerary
- October 11, 2026: Departure from US
- October 12, 2026: Arrival in Italy and hotel check-in
- October 13 to 14, 2026: BI-MU trade show visits and B2B meetings
- October 15, 2026: Departure for US
Note: No transfer will be provided for delegates departing from Verona Airport.
