Sony and Phase 1 Technology Partner for Innovative Block Camera Demonstrations at AUVSI's Unmanned Systems 2014 Conference
Sony’s Visual Imaging Solution division and Phase 1 Technology, a leading distributor in the vision industry for more than 25 years, will co-sponsor a series of product demonstrations introducing Sony’s latest family of HD and SD block cameras at AUVSI's Unmanned Systems 2014 Conference on May 13th through 15th at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
The demonstrations of Sony’s newest and most technically advanced block cameras will be a key highlight of the conference.
General sessions will provide access to a comprehensive collection of cameras for UAV, UGV, as well as Unmanned Surface and Underwater Vehicles. These sessions will occur two times per day and have limited seating. Key Sony personnel will be on hand to unveil and explain the newest additions to Sony’s family of HD and SD block cameras including the following models:
- FCB-EX2700, a block camera with 40x optical zoom, image stabilization and a 90 db wide dynamic range (WDR)
- FCB-EV7300 and FCB-EV7500 featuring digital noise reduction which produces 1080p60 video
- FCB-MA130 a compact (16.5 x 10.3 x 18.0 mm) device that produces 1080p30 video and 13 megapixel still images
During these sessions Sony will also share its comprehensive "roadmap for the future," a long-term plan for continued innovation in its compact zoom camera segment.
In addition to the general sessions, Sony will make its Technical Staff available for focused, one-on-one sessions with qualified applicants. The number of available sessions, each of which will feature customer specific discussions of Sony camera features, applications and design integration protocols, is extremely limited.
