QComp Technologies, Inc. Announces New Automated Space Saving Packaging Cell

The Qcomp Solo Packer Cell meets the most stringent RIA and ANSI standards and is an extremely economical way to automate manual packing. The stand alone control system makes product changes effortless and the units’ size and portability gives manufacturers production flexibility while saving valuable factory floor space. The unit is pre-engineered allowing for an easy install and start up. The Solo Packer Cell can pack up to 30 layer picks per minute and can pick up to 45 lbs per pick. The unit features a 4 or 6 axis robot, integrated feed conveyors, Rockwell Micrologix PLC and a Panelview Plus 600 HMI interface. The system is also available in a wash down compatible version.
