Piab Offers Manufacturers Automation Technology

Piab is expanding its advanced technology within the field of automation to reach more customers. Since opening for business in the 1950s, the company has been leading the development of compressed-air vacuum pumps, vacuum accessories, vacuum conveyors and suction cups, while equipping the most demanding customers with the most advanced solutions.

As energy costs rise and environmental awareness increases, manufacturers are seeking energy-efficient products that enhance capacity. To meet demand, Piab is now expanding its range with several even more cost-efficient products.

First out is piINLINE™, a new range of inline vacuum generators based on COAX® technology. piINLINE™ is ideally suited for the manufacturing industry for integration in machines or robot applications.

 “We will accelerate product development and we are now aiming to launch one new product series every quarter for the coming years,” says Piab’s CEO, Per-Erik Lindquist.

Alongside efforts to extend the product range, Piab is restructuring and strengthening its sales organisation to broaden its market base.

“Our aim is to reach more customers with efficient solutions for automation using vacuum technology. It will be simpler to find us and we will use our knowledge to help customers gain further competitive advantages,” says Lindquist.
