Neousys Technology Nuvo-9531 Intel® 12th-Gen Compact Fanless Computer is Now Shipping
POSTED 11/30/2022
Taipei, Taiwan – Neousys Technology, an industry-leading provider of rugged embedded systems, has announced that their latest Intel® 12th-Gen compact fanless computer, Nuvo-9531, for high-performance industrial automation applications in confined spaces, now begins mass production and shipment.
Officially launched in February, Neousys Intel® 12th-Gen Nuvo-9000 series computers have received rave reviews on its impressive performance in initial testing. Benefited by 16 cores/ 24 threads configuration of Intel’s 12th-Gen CPU, the computers feature Neousys’ expertise in thermal cooling design that can avoid or minimize thermal throttling under demanding environmental conditions. This is achieved by implementing a comprehensive thermal solution for the DDR4 memory and NVMe SSD. The end result is a system performance improvement up to 1.8x when compared to previous Intel 11th or 10th Gen platforms.

North American Robot Orders Hold Steady in Q1 2025 as A3 Launches First-Ever Collaborative Robot Tracking
Robot orders in North America remained essentially flat in the first quarter of 2025, with companies purchasing 9,064 units valued at $580.7 million, according to new data released by the Association for Advancing Automation (A3). Compared to Q1 2024, this represents a 0.4% increase in units ordered and a 15% rise in order value, signaling continued demand and increased investment in higher-value automation systems.
Designed to fit into a variety of industrial applications with limited spaces, such as an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) or a robotic arm, Nuvo-9531 offers an abundance of I/O connections while measuring just 212 x 165 x 63 mm. It offers connections such as 4x GbE and 4x USB3.2 Gen 1 ports with screw-lock for multiple camera connectivity; a Gen4 x4 M.2 NVMe slot for read/write speeds up to 7000 MB/s; a hot-swappable HDD tray to hot-swap the storage drive without turning off the system or dismantling the chassis; 2x mPCIe and 1x M.2 E key slot to install WiFi or 5G/ 4G wireless communication needs.
Nuvo-9531 is available in four models, with optional ignition power control or GbE PoE+ (Power Over Ethernet). Users can select and customize the system that best fit their needs. Neousys will be releasing more embedded computers based on Intel® 12th-Gen platforms, and some with the support of NVIDIA RTX series GPU cards for edge AI inference applications in coming months.
