Motoman Offers Robot Training at Satellite Facility in Greensburg, Indiana

v style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt">Dayton, Ohio — Motoman Inc. now offers several ANSI/IACET-accredited robot training courses at a new 5,200 sq. ft. Motoman Technical Education Center Remote Training Facility located at 806 Randall Street in Greensburg, Indiana. Opened in April 2008, this satellite facility initially provided training exclusively for one of Motoman’s largest customers in the area. Classes are now offered to other Motoman customers and the public.
 
The Greensburg training facility consists of a classroom and lab area with seven Motoman robots: an EA1900N “Expert Arc” welding robot, an HP20 (general-purpose material handling) robot, PX2900 painting robot and four ES165N “Expert Spot” welding robots. Currently, six ANSI/IACET-accredited classes from Motoman’s extensive curriculum of more than 75 courses are available to teach students how to program, operate and maintain Motoman robots with the NX100 controller. All training classes are taught by certified instructors from Motoman’s Technical Education Center located at the company’s headquarters in West Carrollton, Ohio.
 
The first NX100 Basic Programming class at the Greensburg facility will be held the week of October 27 (Monday through Thursday/ 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). Minimum class size is six and maximum of 12. Standard training credits will be accepted. Contact Motoman’s Training Coordinator at 937.847.3307 or enroll online on Motoman’s web site at http://www.motoman.com/support/training/us/Default.htm.
