Robust robotics for life science and food applications

Stäubli will demonstrate its leadership in robots engineered for hygiene-sensitive environments, widely used across life science and medical applications. The TX2-60L MedX Ready robot, equipped with the intuitive MedXguiding function, highlights how precise manual guidance, high-performance six-axis kinematics, and cleanroom-ready design support automation in laboratories, medical device development, and other sensitive workflows.

Precision meets control: the TX2 60L MedX Ready with MedXguiding enables safe, intuitive automation in cleanroom environments.

A second demonstration features a TX2-60L Accesspharma robot picking small components from an ARS FlexiBowl feeder with the aid of an Apera AI vision system. Stäubli’s Accesspharma series robots are designed for auxiliary processes in pharmaceutical as well as medical device manufacturing. They operate in Grade C/D environments and can easily be cleaned with 70 % isopropyl alcohol wipes.

Flexible machine tending for evolving needs

Stäubli will feature its MTC 700/900 Machine Tending Cart, a plug-and-play solution for flexible machine loading and unloading. Compatible with TX2-60 and TX2-60L robots, the cart combines a compact, modular design with built-in SIL 3-PL e safety and intuitive VAL Blocks programming to simplify deployment in metalworking, injection molding, and other production environments with frequent changeovers. The machine tending cart’s adaptability and collaborative features make it easy to integrate, reconfigure, and scale as manufacturing needs evolve.

Stäubli will also highlight its customer services, designed to keep automation systems running safely and efficiently. Visitors can explore EasyBridge, an IoT-enabled maintenance solution included in Stäubli’s Care Packs that provides automatic log uploads, backups, and live robot status for proactive equipment management. Stäubli will additionally showcase its Training Cell, which supports safe, hands-on learning and helps teams build the skills needed to operate and maintain advanced robotic systems with confidence.

At Automate 2026 Booth #1801, Stäubli’s lineup of demos and exhibits, highlighting specialized solutions across multiple industries, will exemplify its mission to make work easy and safe with smart, reliable automation. By reducing complexity, enhancing safety, and enabling greater productivity, Stäubli empowers manufacturers to adapt with confidence and build smarter, safer production environments.
