Kassow Robots to Showcase Advanced Collaborative Robotics Applications at Automate 2025

POSTED 03/25/2025

Kassow Robots, a subsidiary of Bosch Rexroth, will exhibit its cutting-edge, 7-axis collaborative robots in booth #2439 at Automate 2025 from May 12-15 at Huntington Place in Detroit, Michigan. Attendees will experience firsthand the versatility and power of Kassow Robots’ KR Series cobots across various industrial applications and through strategic partner integrations. With payloads capacities ranging from 5 to 18kg and a reach of 850 to 1800 mm, Kassow Robots’ cobots offer both speed and power, while also providing a long reach and high payload.

A key highlight will be the Edge Edition, featuring compact controller integration that offers enhanced flexibility for mobile and space-constrained cobot applications. This innovative design consolidates the controller to just 10% of its original size, integrating it into the robot base and eliminating the need for an external controller. Kassow Robots experts will be on hand to provide personal demonstrations and answer technical questions about these cobots. Specific applications at the booth will include:

  • CNC machine tending
  • Welding
  • Palletizing
  • Labeling
  • Dispensing

A notable integration at the booth will be a ceiling-mounted vehicle combined with Kassow Robots’ Edge Edition technology, featuring a Kassow Robot in an upside-down mobile configuration. This creative display showcases the flexibility and adaptability of the 7-axis cobot and integrated controller technology.

July 22-23, 2025
Hyatt Regency, Minneapolis, MN

Additionally, Kassow Robots will demonstrate integration capabilities with Bosch Rexroth's automation solutions in booth #4807, including a 7-axis cobot working alongside a high-speed smart conveyor system.

Attendees are invited to visit booth #2439 to speak with Kassow Robots' experts and experience the future of collaborative robotics firsthand. For more information on Kassow Robots' presence at Automate 2025, visit www.kassowrobots.com.

About Kassow Robots

Kassow Robots, founded in Copenhagen, Denmark, by Kristian Kassow, develops and manufactures unique, efficient 7-axis lightweight robots for industrial applications. Bosch Rexroth has been the majority shareholder since April 2022, with co-owner Kristian Kassow continuing as CEO. The company’s motto is “strong, fast, simple.” Its robots offer speed, power, and extended reach. The user-friendly design gives businesses greater flexibility, enabling SMEs without in-house robotics specialists to implement complex automation and programming cost-effectively and independently. Additionally, the compact design of the cobots allows them to be used in confined spaces. The robust product family includes five lightweight cobots: the KR 810 (850 mm reach / 10 kg payload), KR 1018 (1000 mm / 18 kg), KR 1205 (1200 mm / 5 kg), KR 1410 (1400 mm / 10 kg), and KR 1805 (1800 mm / 5 kg). In April 2024, Kassow Robots launched the Edge Edition— 7-axis cobot with a controller integrated into the base.
