Jobs Grow in Robotics Industry; New Robotics Online Career Center Helps Connect Employers and Job Seekers
POSTED 08/05/2011
Jobs creation – it is happening right now in the robotics industry and Robotic Industries Association has a newly improved Career Center to help connect employers and job seekers. Now, jobs posted to the Robotics Online Career Center are propagated to some of the same sites preferred by Monster and other career agents. And, for a limited time, the RIA Membership Committee offers a 50% discount on all job postings (members-only – call 734/994-6088).
“People in the robotics industry enjoy a very special situation in today’s economy,” said RIA President, Jeff Burnstein. “There is strong demand for operators, maintenance personnel and engineers for a wide variety of applications. Why? For one thing, according to RIA statistics demand for robots is up 41 percent in the first half of 2011.”
RIA’s Career Center is one of the top-10 sources of traffic to Robotics Online according to Google Analytics for 2011. Reports show that visitors to the Career Center go to more pages and stay on the site longer than visitors from any other source in the top 10. More than 170,000 unique visitors came to Robotics Online in 2010 according to Google Analytics.
New arrangements with its Career Center allow RIA to push job listings from Robotics Online to Indeed and SimplyHired – two major search engines for jobs. “These websites give job seekers free access to millions of employment opportunities from thousands of websites such as CareerBuilder, Monster and now the Robotics Online Career Center,” said Burnstein.
