ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN  Stefan Nilsson, CEO of Güdel, Inc., a Swiss-based manufacturer of linear motion for factory automation has announced the appointment of Joseph E. Campbell as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Güdel Inc.’s North American Operations. Joe manages a team of sales, marketing, and application engineering professionals based throughout the US. He is responsible for all Joe Campbellsales, marketing, technical support, business development, communications and commercial operations for Güdel components, modules and standard solutions for businesses. Joe reports to Stefan Nilsson.

Joe has built his career in factory automation, robotics and the machine vision industry. He has held leadership roles in sales, marketing, manufacturing, integration and engineering, including assignments with ABB, Applied Manufacturing Technologies, KUKA, and Adept Technology. In addition, Joe provided strategic and tactical consulting to leading companies throughout the industry and, has served on the board of the AIA and RIA.

Joe is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and resides in Bloomfield Hills, MI with his wife and daughter.
