EC-4pole 22
Maxon’s EC-4pole 22 achieves extremely high torque at slow speeds compared to other similar-sized brushless DC motors. As part of our standard program, it is available in two lengths and has an operating range between 90 to 120 watts depending on the version. Easily combined with 32 mm planetary gearheads using maxon’s modular system..
The existing rotor comprising 2 pole pairs is fitted with the best magnetic material currently available on the market. For electronic commutation, the magnetic field is sensed through Hall sensors and the rotor position detected. maxon’s winding technology, optimized for 4pole motors, also delivers impressive performance benefits. The EC-4pole 22 has no detent because of the grooveless stator, resulting in excellent control characteristics which are particularly beneficial for positioning operations.
