DENSO Robotics Opens New Training Center in U.S. Midwest

New facility offers comprehensive training in state-of-the-art setting
LONG BEACH, Calif. — DENSO Robotics has opened its new Main Training Center in Dayton, Ohio. The full-service facility brings the total number of DENSO Robotics training centers in the U.S. to three, adding to the company’s West Coast Training Center in Long Beach and its Maintenance Training Center in Maryville, Tenn.
“Expanding our customer support services is a core element of our business,” said Peter Cavallo, robotics sales manager, DENSO Products & Services Americas Inc. “We strategically located our new training center in Ohio to better serve our growing customer base in the U.S. Midwest, East Coast and South.”
The Main Training Center offers the company’s full line of courses in a state-of-the-art classroom designed to provide customers with the highest level of support and product training for their DENSO Robotics systems. Basic and advanced robot programming, ORiN™ programming language, operation and application courses are taught by experienced instructors in a small group setting. Training on DENSO’s new RC8 Controller, as well as existing equipment such as the RC7M Controller, is available.
The high-tech facility is equipped with vision hardware, infrastructure for wireless operations, and workstations with dedicated robots and controls to ensure customers get hands-on training specific to their operational needs. The center also offers online video training, including real-time classes via remote webcast.
DENSO Robotics also offers on-site classes and an online Customer Support section on its website. The latter features a robot service FAQ page, how-to videos, downloadable product information sheets, installation guides, user manuals, legacy-model information, white papers and contact information for DENSO Robotics Sales & Customer Service Center, Repair & Service Center, and Applications Support regional offices.
More than 77,000 DENSO robots are used for precision assembly, manufacturing, product testing and quality assurance by companies worldwide.
