Bosch Rexroth Announces Addition to Kassow Robots’ U.S. Sales Team
Copenhagen, July 21, 2026 – Bosch Rexroth, a leading global supplier of drive and control technologies, today announced the hire of Eric Updike as Senior Business Development Manager for their 7-axis industrial collaborative robot (cobot) business, Kassow Robots. Cobot integration within industries is growing, and Kassow Robots is meeting that demand by adding resources and staff, such as Updike, to strengthen its global sales organization while supporting customers and partners worldwide.
“Eric’s expertise in industrial automation and technical sales makes him a valuable addition to the team,” said Kassow Robots Chief Sales Officer, Christoph Rieger. “We are confident that Eric will be instrumental in building our presence in North America and assisting our customers in applying our cobot technology in ways that best support their operations.”
In his new role, Updike will drive growth by building and managing Kassow Robots’ U.S. distributor network, leading projects through the full sales cycle for cobot applications in assembly, pick and place, packaging, welding and more. Updike is responsible for managing revenue targets, working closely with regional and international sales leadership. He will lead technical support to help customers improve productivity, cost savings and accuracy across operations, as cobot integration is expected to have a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 34.5% by 2035.
Updike joins the team with 22 years of experience helping industrial and manufacturing-focused organizations drive business growth through consultative selling, strategic planning, new business development and channel management. His experience includes working with executives, engineers, operation teams and channel partners to support adoption of automation solutions that improve rate of production, safety and return on investment.
Kassow Robots’ growth is evident in its recently expanded KR series of cobots. Earlier this year, it introduced the KR1824 and KR1240, which are built for higher-payload applications. The 7-axis cobot solutions are designed to integrate seamlessly into industrial environments, now with more power without compromising flexibility.
Bosch Rexroth acquired Denmark-based Kassow Robots in 2022, further strengthening the company’s robust factory automation portfolio. To learn more about Kassow Robots’ collaborative robot solutions, please visit www.kassowrobots.com.
