We’ll no doubt be arguing about form factors and general intelligence for the next several days, but here’s one thing we can all agree on: there’s never been a more exciting time to have a career in the robotics field.

For all the ups and downs of the job market (more downs than ups, it seems), automation firms are still hiring at a steady clip. With reinvigorated interested in reshoring manufacturing, robots are increasingly central to the global economy.
