The company specializes in intelligent warehouse automation and automated guided vehicles to help streamline production chain and speed key workflows. THE CHALLENGE
Large machines and devices found within the facility require a constant stream of communication to operate that reaches further than the typical 100 meters that IEEE 802.11ac wireless provides. In an instance where a forklift is racking or a moving cart is towing, it is utilizing an access point with Rapid Roaming, however, once it loses that access point they need to quickly connect to another within range.
