Antaira has partnered with a Mobile Robotic company located in Massachusetts that handles a large warehouse filled with automated vehicles. The company specializes in intelligent warehouse automation and automated guided vehicles to help streamline production chain and speed key workflows. Forklifts and moving carts are two examples of the machinery operating in their warehouse that requires an access point with Antaira’s Rapid Roaming technology.
THE CHALLENGE
Large machines and devices found within the facility require a constant stream of communication to operate that reaches further than the typical 100 meters that IEEE 802.11ac wireless provides. In an instance where a forklift is racking or a moving cart is towing, it is utilizing an access point with Rapid Roaming, however, once it loses that access point they need to quickly connect to another within range. This is where Antaira’s expertise comes into play.

THE SOLUTION
