Customer Problem:
Customer hand palletized six production lines at their facility for many years. They needed to increase throughput to support their growing customer base and decided to automate all lines. With a large plant, and production lines in different areas of the plant, long runs of accumulation conveyor automation were needed to manage production of the six lines feeding the robotic palletizing cell.
Adaptec Conveyor Automation Solution:
Adaptec provided a turnkey solution that increased throughput by 35%. The conveyor automation system included design, programming and installation of over 700 linear feet of Hytrol EZ Logic 24-volt zero pressure accumulation conveyor, Quimarox elevators and controls to feed the robotic palletizing cell.
