The OEM integration delivers clean, consistent image data at up to 539 fps, improving reproducibility and enabling future system scalability.

When modernizing its latest testing systems, the company needed a compact, high-speed imaging solution capable of capturing small details in real time without compromising system integration or reliability. Their previous imaging solutions lacked the transfer speed, image fidelity, and reliability demanded by modern research methods. The goal was to improve visual data quality while ensuring efficient integration into existing equipment designs and workflows.

To achieve this, Stoelting integrated an OEM variant of The Imaging Source’s USB 3.1 industrial camera, DMK 37AUX287. This USB3 Vision-compliant camera model offers a reduced hardware footprint (36 × 36 × 25 mm) with a maximum frame rate of 539 fps at 0.4 MP. The cameras' plug-and-play connectivity and compatibility with Stoelting’s acquisition software simplified installation, reducing time to market while the cameras’ fast interface throughput, and robust, lab-ready design ensured reliable performance.
