With programmable Ethernet controllers, users can enhance machine or process performance and speed up system development, all while reducing costs in their setup. Different industrial protocols (MODBUS, Ethernet/IP) provide gateways between systems. Our PFC200 controllers can be used for robotics management, diagnostics or secure connection to the cloud giving operators a variety of possibilities when managing their course of action.
WAGO provides a wide range of Ethernet controllers in different performance classes and with various interface combinations. The Ethernet fieldbus controllers support Modbus TCP which provides a flexible connection to fieldbus systems and external input/output devices. A wide variety of standard Ethernet protocols is also supported for easy integration into IT environments (e.g., HTTP, BootP, DHCP, DNS, SNTP, SNMP FTP). An onboard web server enables dynamic HTML5 visualizations that can be used by operators and maintenance personnel for system operation. In addition, a built-in Firewall and VPN helps you deploy Defense-in-Depth strategies without the need for additional components.
