Universal Grippers

Vektek’s Universal Grippers provide highly adaptable end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) for industrial robots and cobots, serving as the essential interface between robotic arms and workpieces. Designed for both new installations and retrofit applications, these grippers deliver precision, reliability, and durability across a wide range of automation scenarios.

A variety of configurations and options allow users to optimize performance for their specific needs. Short-stroke grippers deliver higher gripping force, while force-intensified “TDM” versions provide even greater strength in the same or smaller footprint. For high-temperature applications up to 130°C, the “HT” option ensures safe operation without compromising performance. Dust and environmental protection can be upgraded from IP40 to IP64, and IP67-rated 2-jaw (VSO) and 3-jaw (VZO) models offer full ingress protection without the need for additional air lines. Anti-corrosion “AC” variants are also available for demanding environments.

Vektek grippers are engineered for versatility. Adjustable jaw systems (“VUS”) accommodate different part sizes, while quick-change jaws (“VY”) allow fast swapping of fingers. Pre-drilled finger blanks in steel and aluminum (“VS”) are available for custom configurations. Stroke can be limited with the “AST” option, and magnetic or inductive proximity sensors provide precise position monitoring using standardized C-slot sizes.

Safety and reliability are built in. VMP valves maintain air pressure in the event of supply loss, and spring-assisted normally open (“MA”) or normally closed (“MC”) models hold parts securely during power or pressure interruptions.
