Precise Defect Detection in Flat Panel Display Inspection
The Teledyne Lt-M2470 combines the sensitivity of a back-illuminated sensor (BSI) with the small pixel sizes of the Pregius 4th generation sensors to create a camera that is ideal for machine vision applications. When targets, such as flat panel displays (FPDs) are moving quickly past the camera’s field of view (FoV), high frame rates are crucial to capturing sharp images. The Lt-M2470 offers a maximum frame rate of 92 fps with Teledyne’s Burst Mode technology. In FPD inspection when exposure times need to be as short as possible to keep production moving, this back-illuminated camera allows for a greater amount of light to be captured in the reduced exposure.
