Image sensors with high resolutions are very complex in terms of technology. Sensors with rolling shutters are technically much simpler than sensors with global shutters. Rolling shutter sensors have fewer transistors and are easier to manufacture, especially in terms of noise. For this reason, rolling shutter still dominates the market for high-resolution sensors. However, global shutter is the gold standard for image sensors because it guarantees that all pixels are exposed at exactly the same time, thus eliminating distortions caused by object movement. The shr661 offers 127.6 megapixel resolution with global shutter top technology and a wide dynamic range due to the 3.45µm pixel.
