Protective Robosuit shown for palletizing robot (4-axis). This Kuka KR120 R3200-PA is sewn with an electrostatically-conductive fabric to wick away electrical charge from the suit. Additionally, this Robosuit is pressurized from the base to the end-of-arm tool flange to prevent an explosive mix of dust from developing within the robot suit.
Typically, robots of this size can be adequately pressurized with small centrifugal blowers (under 1-hp) to effectively mitigate exlosion hazards.
