MultiFocal 3D is a compact solid-state 3D sensor designed for precise measurement and inspection inside of confined geometries. It captures dense point clouds without contact, moving parts, or manual alignment; enabling fast and repeatable inspection of holes, rivets, fasteners, and internal features in automated industrial systems.

The sensor can be mounted on a robotic arm and measure countersinks without ever piercing the plane of the substrate and without manually guiding to the hole. When the robot is in a pre-programmed starting position, the sensor locates the center of the hole, aligns the robot to it, and corrects robot position for normality before measuring.

Rivet Inspection
