Model: PM-HL

Konica Minolta Sensing Americas

PM-HL Software relies on industry standard test specifications to enable accurate evaluation of automotive headlamp beam patterns.

Image of PM-HL™ Headlamp Evaluation Module for ProMetric® Software

ProMetric® Software provides equipment control, data acquisition and image analysis when used with ProMetric Imaging Photometers and Colorimeters. Together, this combination provides rapid and accurate measurement of luminance and color for a broad range of light sources, displays, backlit components, and optical materials.

PM-HL is a headlamp evaluation module for ProMetric Software that enables accurate evaluation of headlamp beam patterns. It also permits conversion of headlamp beam patterns into roadway illumination distributions. A typical PM-HL system consists of:

  • ProMetric Imaging Colorimeter or Photometer
  • PM-AC4001 Metal Halide Illumination Calibration Lamp
  • PM-HL software

Benefits:

  • Quickly and economically qualify the illuminance, chromaticity and color temperature of lighting products versus lighting regulations or alternative lamps
  • Enjoy lower capital investment and reduced measurement expense than with goniometric methods
  • Eliminate the need for a 25 meter dark room
  • Provide finely-resolved, quantitative and graphical analysis

Typical Applications:

PM-HL enables accurate evaluation of headlamp beam patterns and converts headlamp beam patterns into roadway illumination distributions.

  • Light source illuminance distribution measurement
  • Evaluation of ECE and US regulated test points
  • Evaluation of custom test points
  • Evaluation of beam pattern cut-off gradients
  • Conversion to luminous intensity distribution
  • Conversion to roadway illumination distribution

NIR Intensity Lens Image

NIR Intensity Lens

The NIR Intensity Lens system is an integrated camera/lens solution that measures the angular distribution and radiant intensity of 850 or 940 nm near-infrared (NIR or near-IR) emitters used in sensing applications, evaluating +/- 70 degrees in a single image.
