Piab adds a new model to its line of Friction Cups. The OCF-P cups (Oval-Concave-Friction). The OCF-P cups are available in three sizes; OCF20x80P, OCF30x90P and OCF40x110P. The OCF-P design is suitable for oblong objects with slightly domed and flat surfaces, such as those encountered with body parts in the automotive industry. The DURAFLEX® friction cups are tailor-made for handling parts with an oily metal surface. Bending, cutting, punching and stamping machines are typically used in the metal fabrication processes. Cups are used for automation, in most case handling and holding operations.
