Gliding shoes are for cable drag chains used in horizontal gliding position (upper run glides over lower run). The gliding shoes are snapped into the side links of the in- side flexure curve (no tools required) instead of using frame bridge locks. This will prevent the chain from sliding on the links, but only on the gliding shoes. Depending on the application, the service life of the cable drag chain with gliding shoes, can be up to five times higher.
