Metalgear Engineering proposes a fully integrated automated robotic welding system designed to streamline and standardize the production of welded fittings. Leveraging Metalgear Robotics Division technology and Yaskawa industrial robots paired with ESAB welding systems, this turnkey solution dramatically reduces manual welding labor, improves weld consistency, and enables scalable production capacity.

System Capabilities:
The X4 system is the high-throughput configuration, featuring four one-axis positioners arranged along a 3-meter Yaskawa Linear Track. The robot travels along the track to service all four welding stations, enabling continuous production cycles across multiple fixture positions. This configuration is ideal for larger production volumes and mixed-part welding runs.
- Four independent welding stations with the robot traveling along a 3 m linear axis
- Dramatically higher throughput vs. manual welding or smaller cells
- Ideal for mixed-part runs — different fitting types can be loaded simultaneously
- ESAB multi-process torch: GMAW (MIG) for carbon steel, GTAW (TIG) for stainless steel — process selection per material without equipment change
- Integrated ESAB Cleaning Station extends torch nozzle life and reduces downtime
- Fully programmed with remote customer training included
