Tool Tracker was developed to address a need for error-proofing and complete traceability in a manual fastening station. Tool Tracker uses sophisticated, high speed visual tracking technology to precisely and repeatedly monitor and report the position and orientation of a hand held tool in three-dimensional space within a work cell.
Tool Tracker won Windsor's Chamber of Commerce Product Innovation Award and was featured as a cover story for Manufacturing Automation magazine. Ford's Board of Governance tested Tool Tracker and awarded it Implementation Ready Technology!
