Webinar: 10GigE, 25GigE, and 100GigE Machine Vision Cameras Open New Doors in Automation

POSTED 06/06/2023

As machine vision applications evolve, the components that comprise them must advance in lockstep. Certain applications, for example, require machine vision cameras capable of extremely high frame rates and data rates with high reliability and performance. Emergent Vision Technologies’ 10GigE25GigE, and 100GigE cameras provide systems integrators and OEMs high-speed cameras that can fulfill these challenging automation application needs from both an area scan and line scan approach.

This presentation from John Ilett, President and CTO of Emergent Vision Technologies, looks at some of the latest innovations in high-speed imaging, including the adoption of 10GigE and beyond, and the UDP-based GigE Vision streaming protocol (GSVP), and how it compares to remote direct memory access (RDMA), RoCE (RDMA over converged Ethernet), and the transmission control protocol (TCP). In addition, Ilett covers camera multicasting, a machine vision interface standards comparison, and various processing technologies, such as GPUDirect, NVIDIA GPUs, FPGAs, and our proprietary NICs, which are available in 10GigE, 25GigE, and 100GigE formats.
