Mech-Mind Reaches MTBF Mark of 40,000 Hours

Mech-Mind announces that a number of Mech-Mind's flagship 3D cameras have successfully passed a test for Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) of 40,000 hours. The assessment was independently supervised by SGS-CSTC, the world's leading certification company and widely recognized as the global benchmark for quality and integrity. 

MTBF is one of the most important indicators used to measure the reliability of industrial products. The higher the MTBF rating is, the more reliable and durable a product is considered to be. 

We are proud to say that the MTBF rating of 40,000+ hours is equivalent to more than 1,666 days without a malfunction, demonstrating the high reliability of Mech-Mind's 3D cameras for industrial use.

The certification was granted following temperature testing conducted by SGS-CSTC at the Mech-Mind facility. During the test, the Mech-Eye industrial 3D cameras operated continuously and uninterruptedly under conditions of elevated ambient temperature. Each camera underwent rigorous testing, and all passed with total success.

The Mech-Eye industrial 3D camera has been proven to be an ideal choice for various industries, as the camera's high performance has passed CE, FCC, VCCI, KC, UKCA, ISED, and NRTL certifications, as well as IP65 protection and IEC 60068-2 environmental test standards. Its advanced features are able to withstand harsh conditions such as dust, humidity, vibration, high temperature, and electromagnetic interference. 

In addition, Mech-Mind's high-standard camera factory exercises strict control over the manufacturing process, and the camera has been certified by three major ISO certifications, including the ISO9001 Quality Management System, ISO14001 Environmental Management System, and ISO45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

So far, more than 3000 cases of the Mech-Eye industrial 3D camera are in use worldwide, ranging from automotive OEMs and auto parts factories to construction machinery factories.
