Introducing Mission’s Newest Vice President, Gerald Halford
Mission Design & Automation (Mission) is thrilled to welcome Gerald Halford as a new Vice President. With more than 20 years of extensive experience in the automation industry, Halford is a valuable addition to our executive team. His expertise will be pivotal in enhancing our operations and helping drive the next phase of growth for Mission Design & Automation.
A Proven Leader in Automation
Gerald Halford's journey in the automation industry began directly after he graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. His career has encompassed various roles, including jobs in engineering, project management, business leadership, and more recently, Vice President & General Manager at JR Automation.
“In some way, shape, or form—my whole career has been in automation,” Halford said. “It has all been spent in this industry, and it has been a lot of fun.”
Focusing on Customer-Centric Growth
Halford is eager to connect with customers and collaborate closely with Mission's functional teams, helping drive growth and innovation within the company. He also noted that he’s looking forward to getting back to the fundamentals of automation and what makes a company in this industry successful: the people.
