3D vision plus color: IDS introduces the new stereo vision camera Ensenso C
New 3D camera with 5 MP sensors for precise inspections of large scenes and fine details
IDS presented a new member of the Ensenso 3D camera product line at automatica - now it is going into series production. The new Ensenso C addresses recent challenges in the automation and robotics industry. Compared to other Ensenso models, it delivers both 3D and RGB color information. Customers therefore benefit from even more robust image data. The new 3D camera is suitable for automation of many industrial processes, such as quality control, assembly lines or picking tasks.
The Ensenso C Series offers a high resolution of 5 MP for the point cloud and 2 MP for the additional 2D color information. It will initially be available with a baseline of approx. 240 mm and a little later also with approx. 455 mm. This ensures that even large objects can be captured.
