Wittenstein - Modular Hypoid Outputs

Innovative engineering creates optimum design freedom for applications. The mechanical creativity of WITTENSTEIN has succeeded in developing standard hypoid gearboxes with a reconfigurable output design to be custom ordered for the application requirements.

The alpha hypoids offer the highest torque for their size in the industry with maximum efficiency and minimum space requirements. They also add the highest flexibility to design engineers with the different output connection options, all providing their own unique design and specifications to your application’s needs.

The standard hypoid gearbox (designated with an "S" in the ordering code) has seven output options to choose from which are identified numerically in the ordering code:

Modular Hypoid Outputs for Maximum Design Freedom    (0) solid shaft / flange
    (1) keyed shaft
    (2) involute shaft
    (3) pinion
    (5) hollow shaft / flange
    (6) hollow shaft with 2 usable shaft ends
    (7) a flange hollow shaft for spindle nut assembly

    (0) closed cover and standard shaft
    (6) standard shaft with rear hollow shaft
    (A) solid shaft with rear hollow shaft
