New Motion Control Conference Sessions, Pavilion at International Robots & Vision Show
(Ann Arbor, Michigan – May 7, 2007) The Motion Control Association (MCA) and its members will participate in the International Robots & Vision Show with conference sessions and a motion control pavilion to provide technical and product information to the thousands of attendees looking for automation solutions. Launched in 1976, the show is held every two years and is North America’s leading robotics and vision event. Held June 12-14, 2007 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont (Chicago) Illinois, the show is co-located with Sensors Expo. The show is sponsored by the Robotic Industries Association (RIA), Automated Imaging Association (AIA) and Motion Control Association (MCA), all sister associations under the Automation Technologies Council (ATC) umbrella.
“With the synergy between robots, machine vision and motion control, it makes sense to offer our International Robots & Vision Show attendees the full spectrum of technologies they can quickly put to use in their companies. Integration is critical to improving productivity and we look forward to the role MCA and motion control will have in the show for years to come”, said Don Vincent, ATC’s Executive Vice President.
The show focuses on accessible training this year with many opportunities on the exhibition floor and in the highly regarded technical conference that accompanies the show. The conference is held June 11-14 and features industry leaders educating on practical solutions that attendees can easily implement as well as introducing technology advances in the industry. Motion control sessions will be offered on Wednesday, June 13 and will cover topics such as: technology considerations in designing a motion control system, how to select motion control components, and communications protocols in motion control.
Motion control companies participating in the exhibition include: AdvanTech International, Baldor Electric, Data Device Corporation, maxon precision motors, Nabtesco Motion Control, National Instruments, Panasonic Electric Works Corporation of America, Pilz Automation Safety LP, Ruland Manufacturing Co., Inc., Siemens Energy & Automation, WITTENSTEIN Motion Control, and Yaskawa Electric America, Inc.
The Motion Control Association is a trade association representing motion control suppliers, integrators, users, researchers, and consulting firms. For more information about MCA and the motion control industry, visit www.motioncontrolonline.org or contact MCA Headquarters at (734) 994-6088.
